hello stranger...............

HI!!!!  It's ME.........Joanie..............................really it is ME!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderfully peaceful Mother's Day!

Mine was nice but....busy, expensive, emotional and spent with only half of the family...spent the weekend in Louisville attempting to move Justin into his apartment for the start of summer school at Univ of Louisville!

Drove out there Saturday since it takes 6 hours...spent the night an hour away from Louisville since our usual Holiday Inn a few miles from campus was charging the Kentucky Derby rate of  $645.00 a night!!!!

Then spent Sunday afternoon flabbergasted over the condition of Justin's (and roommate Matt) University apartment.....let's just say it wasn't what any of us expected!  Plus the cleaning service somehow missed cleaning their "efficiency" apartment............YUKE! UGH! GROSS! PISSED OFF! DON'T MESS WITH A FRUSTRATED MENOPAUSAL MOM!

We were told that Justin was spoiled this past school year, living in a privately-owned suite dorm building...with spacious room, carpeted, and sharing a private bathroom with another suite.

Give me a break..at $1,850.00 for 2 months, I expect a clean (floors scrubbed & bathroom mold-free) living space for my child! And by Monday late morning that's what I got...(sort of)! We still recleaned everything anyways but hey it was the whole principle about it...follow-thru darnit!
SCORE 1 for the MENOPAUSAL MOM!!!

HOME SWEET HOME.......and $400.00 later.............

Lookin happy once it was all put together!
(Buddies...Joe & Ryan who live on the 10th floor were exhausted!  lol)

What every college student MUST have...a pizza cooker! COOL!

small..............very small............

ribbit......ribbit
Alex and Lauren surprised Justin with a "frog -themed" bathroom...too funny!  He loved it!
And Matt thought it was pretty cool too!!!!

It was so hard saying "Good-bye again".......thought it would get easier....it's not.

Thanks for checkin out all my "bolognie"!

LOL! What fun and the place looks great (you know, for a college kid! ;) ) I remember how exciting it was to be on my own for the first time...you are so sweet to help out and insist on getting things done. :) Hope you are doing well!!
