I used the gorgeous Basic Grey, Lime Rickey papers and embellishments! I just love these colors!
The top photo is from an advertisement online...My dear friend Shelly and I always kid about how we'll still be friends when we're in our 80's...going out to lunch wearing our support stockings and babushkas!!!!!
Shelly and I have been friends for at least 10 years! We have such a special bond...kindred spirits. 
Last year Shelly fought the toughest battle of her life...actually she fought FOR her life, breast cancer. Without hesitation, I fought that battle along side her and WE WON! She is an amazing lady...beautiful(especially when she was bald!), strong, stubborn, compassionate, smart, a smart-ass, funny, gutsy, loving and CANCER-FREE! I wouldn't have her any other way! I am blessed to have her in my life and thank God everyday that she is! Love ya Shelly!

Oh Joanie....love this SKETCH and you worked it perfectly!!!!! Wowze girlie, you have some awesome talent going on there.... So Happy for Shelly and proud of her also. I lost my dearest friend from breast cancer and I so truly miss her. As I write this I see her before my eyes and the tears start to roll......so Shelly you go girl and I am so proud that you helped her battle this disease. Thanks for sharing your talent with me today......have a wonderful day and smile :)
Love your layout Joan such a nice tribute to your friendship. I have two friends that have thankfully overcome breast cancer.I am so glad that your friend Shelly did too. I am sure you will still be friends when your in your eighties and enjoyinh life. Good luck to you both!!
