Crazy Week!

OMG it's only Wednesday.....

This week is booked solid with school events, sports, Open Houses, work, Pto mtg, volunteering at the Volleyball concession stand, Golf Team meet, shuffling my Mom and MIL around AND on top of all of this, Michael is out of town all week with work......UGH, I'm so tired!

Before I nod off.....I'll leave you with a layout that I just finished using the Studio Calico's August Add-on Kit, Director's Cut.... I used the word "Beauty" for a challenge at OLW....

Secondly....The kids went back to SCHOOL today! It was bitter-sweet....sad to see them go BUT glad to have a quiet morning to myself before I went to work! They all had a good day...homework already!

This kind of stuff only happens to Connor!

He found this Pop-Up suction cup in his bedroom drawer...it was in a goodie bag from a birthday party years ago! So....while laying in bed trying to fall asleep a few weeks ago, he grabbed this suction cup and wondered how long it would take to "POP-UP" off of his forehead!

Well.............his little experiment really didn't pan out too well because he FELL ASLEEP! BUT WAIT... when he woke up the next morning, you guessed right...it was still stuck to his forehead!

Experiment results: OUCH!

Long Time, No Blog!!!!!

Hi all!!! Wow, I haven't been blogging for a week...YIKES! So I've got some catching up to do!

2 more days of summer for us all here and then it's SCHOOL TIME!!!! My kids are dreading it...me, not so much now! It's time to get back to a routine and normal bedtime for us ALL!!!

Although that also means...suffering through homework, hearing about all the "friend DRAMA", golf meets, cheerleading, Teenage DRAMA, future college visits, Homecoming, Prom, PTO and Booster meetings & activites, Teenage DRAMA, Basketball Concession stands, girlfriends, boyfriends, dances, TEENAGE DRAMA, ETC.......Are ya getting the picture here????? UGH, maybe I'm not ready for school to start!!!!!

I got to scrap last night.....I completed a page for a challenge over at Paper Popsicles!

Challenge Rules are: Step 1: Melissa asked us to post a picture that we would want to scrap. Here's my picture.........
Step 2: You need to include the following items creating a 12x12 layout for the picture/s you posted. Your layout must include: yellow, blue and brown cardstock, 3 buttons, 4 different patterned papers, journaling, use the word blast in the title (using die cut, sticker or rub-on letters), and use 3 stickers .

Well the heat has finally hit Illinois! It's in the 90's, humid and windy! We are spending the day cooling off in the pool and watching Bruce Willis Die Hard flicks in the air-conditioning!

I did some scrapbooking last night...finished a layout using the yummy July Studio Calico Kit, Documentary! I also used the word "SWEET" from the challenge site, One Little Word....You need to go check out that site, the DT is soooooo creative and inspirational!

Hey...what do ya think of the mask and Maya Mist? I'm gettin the hang of it...got to buy some more mist colors!

Summer is back!

We finally have some Hot Summer weather!!!! Unfortunately we only have 2 more weeks left...then school starts! We've all been spoiled this summer with no schedules, staying up late and sleeping in! It's been wonderful!
